Claudia Ramirez is the Executive Director of St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County, serving low-income populations in Contra Costa County with a focus on developing systemic change programs to promote the economic sustainability of the people we serve. She has served in that role for more than 7 years after a successful career as a manufacturing executive. She served on the Board of Directors of the National Council of SVdP from 2020-2024 and currently serves on the SVdP Disaster Services Corporation board. An effective team leader, skillful technical writer, and engaging public speaker, Claudia has experience delivering organizational training in topics including leadership, strategy, and planning. Additionally, Claudia has been an SVdP volunteer (Vincentian) for 14 years with St. Vincent de Paul’s conference (branch) at St. John Vianney Church in Walnut Creek. She brings years of experience and leadership in business to her role at SVdP. Born in Colombia and bilingual in Spanish, she spent her formative years in Madison, Wisconsin,..Claudia has completed MS work at the University of Maryland and has a BS from the University of Wisconsin. She is active on several leadership committees at her parish of St. John Vianney. She enjoys hiking, cooking, wine, and travel.
